It’s not often that a project comes along with the potential to make a significant impact in a region, however Field Construct has designed and constructed the Trinity Beach State School Senior Learning Centre which may well establish the template for future educational buildings across the state. The judges were extremely impressed with the attention to detail shown, and special mention was made of the variety of materials that were used to generate interest on all facades.

The judges made special mention of the consistency of quality finishes throughout this contemporary home. Perfectly sited to make the most of the FNQ weather, it features a striking industrial-style aesthetic. Natural elements are incorporated throughout, including formed concrete bench tops and vanity bowls, and spotted gum decking. The addition of an oversized under-mounted copper sink in the kitchen and a simple grey and white colour scheme further showcases the industrial style.
