Prerequisite

Have completed current CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)

Delivery

Face-to-face learning or RPL2. There are 27 units in this course (16 units to complete & 11 units credit transfer).

The course requires demonstration of the management and planning of the building process so students must have access to a construction worksite.

Face-to-face accelerated program full price:

  • Member: $7,229 (GST exempt)
  • Non-member: $7,329 (GST exempt)

Members payment plan: initial deposit of $1,500 + 10 monthly payments of $572.90
Non-members payment plan: initial deposit of $1,500 + 10 monthly payments of $582.90

Face-to-face accelerated program funded prices:

  • CSQ funded Member: $1,100 (GST exempt)*
  • CSQ funded Non-member: $1,200 (GST exempt)*
  • BERT funded: fee free for current BERT members or employees of contributing BERT employers ($100 enrolment fee applies - Inc. GST)^

Face-to-face eligibility  

To enrol students must:

  • Demonstrate a minimum of two years commercial sector industry experience or hold a current Builder Low Rise licence (Certificate IV in Building & Construction qualification is a mandatory requirement for accelerated program).
  • Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)
  • Have access to internet and email
  • Have access to a construction site
  • Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs, Adobe Reader and Google Chrome, that can be used throughout the course duration for class work and assessments
  • You will need access to a building and construction site as you will be required to demonstrate the management and planning of components of the building process, record them, and get the required sign-off by a qualified person for the project/s.
