If you'd like to make a difference and have a say on important industry issues, there are a number of opportunities.
Whether you’re a commercial or residential builder or trade contractor, we have a position suited to you.
As an association representing the whole industry, it’s vital that we include a cross-section of representatives from our industry to ensure we have a voice for all sectors and levels of industry.
Housing and Construction Sector Committees - nominations now open
Nominations for the Housing and Construction Sector Committees are now open.
These committees provide recommendations to the Board on policy and industry wide issues, such as proposed changes to laws, codes and regulations. Each committee is made of of 10-14 members with appropriate industry qualifications and experience. Each Committee must meet a prescribed number of Brisbane and regional representatives and have up to 50 per cent trade contractor members.
Completed Nomination Forms must be received as per the instructions by the Returning Officer by 4pm on Thursday, 31 October 2019. Where multiple nominations are received, the Board will determine positions at the November 2019 Board meeting.
President, Housing & Construction Sector Committees Chairs, Board
Nominations have now closed. The President, Housing & Construction Committees Chairs and the General Board were announced at the Association AGM on Tuesday, 15 October 2019.
MBEC and Divisional Representatives
Nominations have now closed. The elected members of Master Builders Electoral College (MBEC) and Divisional Representatives were announced at the Association AGM on Tuesday, 15 October 2019.
Nominations for Division and Branch Committees of Management and Policy subcommitees will open later this year.
