As an association representing the whole industry, it’s vital that we include a cross-section of representatives from our industry to ensure we have a voice for all sectors and levels of industry.

MBEC and Divisional Representatives - closed

Nominations have now closed. The elected members of Master Builders Electoral College (MBEC) and Divisional Representatives were announced at the Association AGM on Tuesday, 15 October 2019.

President, Housing & Construction Sector Chairs, Board - closed

Nominations have now closed. The President, Housing & Construction Committees Chairs and the General Board were announced at the Association AGM on Tuesday, 15 October 2019.

Housing & Construction Sector Committees - closed

Nominations for the Housing and Construction Sector Committees are now closed. The committees will be chosen at the November 2019 Board meeting.

Division & Branch Committees of Management - closed

Nominations for the Division and Branch Committees of Management (COM) are now closed. Committees of Management will be chosen at the relevant Division/Branch AGM during November and announced in December.

Each Divisional COM is made up of 3-8 members with appropriate industry qualifications and experience, including the nominated Divisional Representative who represents the Division on the MBEC, who automatically sits on the COM. Once the COM is elected, a Chair and (if applicable) Vice Chair will be elected by the Committee annually.

Each Branch COM is made up of 3-8 members with appropriate industry qualifications and experience, including the Regional Manager, who automatically sits on the COM. Once the COM is elected, a Chair and (if applicable) Vice Chair will be elected by the Committee annually.

Policy subcommittees - closed

Nominations for policy subcommittees are now closed. Committees will be determined during November and announced in December.

Each policy subcommittee is responsible for providing recommendations on policy and industry wide issues, such as proposed changes to laws, codes and regulations, to the Housing and Construction Sector committees. Each subcommittee is made up of between 10 and 14 members with appropriate industry qualifications and experience and an interest in industry issues. Each subcommittee may include up to 50 per cent trade contractor members.
