HELPING local builders and tradies bolster their businesses and supporting women in construction are at the top of the agenda, as Michelle Traill takes the reins as Master Builders’ new Regional Manager for Central Queensland.
Michelle has been an integral part of the Master Builders family for the past two years in her role as Membership Development Executive in Cairns.
“Michelle’s industry knowledge and extensive business development experience across numerous sectors, made her a standout candidate,” Master Builders’ Deputy CEO, Paul Bidwell said
“Her enthusiasm for making a difference is evident, and I’m confident she’ll be a trusted and sought-after voice for our members and the local industry as a whole.”
With a long-held passion for the building and construction industry, Michelle said she was excited to bring a fresh approach.
“I’m looking forward to gaining an even stronger understanding of our current members and forging relationships with stakeholders and the local community, to continue to build a robust presence for Master Builders and our members,” Michelle said.
“I take immense pride in seeing how members can use our services to strengthen their businesses, to make sure they are compliant and always ready for whatever this dynamic industry throws at them.
“I’m already working to establish new initiatives for women in the construction industry through events such as Master Builders’ Influencers workshops. I’ll also be focused on supporting members to upskill and remain current via the many training course opportunities we offer.”
“I look forward to meeting and assisting all our members.”
Michelle steps into the role following predecessor Dennis Bryant’s decision to retire. After a decade’s dedicated service to members, and tireless work advocating for the industry, Dennis will continue to assist with training in the region.
“The last 10 years have flown, and I have enjoyed every contact, every question and every request for assistance. I trust I did that to the best of my abilities,” Dennis said.
