21 November 2025
The deadline for Master Builders voluntary 2025 CPD program is only a few weeks away!
Make sure you record this calendar year's CPD-approved activities by 31 December 2025 (the system is locked down after this date and you won’t have the opportunity to enter activities after the deadline).
What are the requirements?
You’ll need to complete a minimum of six hours per year. You can achieve these by attending activities like seminars, workshops, training courses, industry conferences or trade shows, and committee participation.
If you’ve attended a CPD-approved Master Builders event or training course this year, for example, an industry information session or Roadshow or training course, workshop or webinar – you are eligible!
What will I receive for participating?
You’ll receive a badge and certificate of acknowledgement that you can display on your promotional and marketing material. If you wish to participate and have met the minimum requirements, make sure you upload your activities by 31 December 2025. Badges and certificates will be issued in February 2026.
How do I record my activities?
You can manage your CPD diary via our online CPD diary. Go to the My Membership area and follow the prompts to Update your CPD diary with any activities you've completed since 1 January 2025. You don’t need a certificate of attendance – just upload the details of the events or training you’ve completed. Check out our video tutorial on how to set up your CPD diary
CPD program phase out
2025 will be the last year we run the voluntary CPD program. With the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) shining the spotlight on compulsory CPD in early 2026, we’ve made the decision to phase out our voluntary CPD program at the end of 2025 and focus on our work with the QBCC to introduce a fit for purpose CPD program that benefits the industry and licence holders.
