Conducting Workplace Investigations
To maintain a safe and respectful work environment it is necessary to conduct workplace investigations to address complaints and gather impartial and fair information to make informed decisions to come to a resolution.

Why enrol?
This workshop will walk students through the process of conducting a workplace investigation, from identifying when a formal investigation is required, to conducting interviews, writing the report and implementing the outcome.
Course outline
This short livestream course will outline:
- Identify and understand when a formal investigation is required
- Analyse allegations and understand what to investigate.
- Conducting a fair process, and not expose your business to risk during the process.
- Preparing for and conducting effective interviews
- Analysing interviews and other evidence, and drawing conclusions
- Writing an investigation report, and
- Implementing the outcomes (including communicating with the business, proposing and taking action against individuals, and implementing changes to company policies and procedures).

Must be 15 years of age or over, permanently reside in Qld, and be an Australian citizen or a New Zealand citizen or hold an eligible visa as identified by the Department. This course is part of the Master Builders Construction business basics program. This is a non-accredited micro-credential. This micro-credentialling program project is proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government. |
Outcome | This is not a Nationally Recognised Training course. You will receive a Statement of Completion. Students will receive the workshop training badge to include on their own marketing upon completion. |
