Our BSBESB402 Establish legal and risk management requirements of new business ventures is suitable for all individuals needing to apply for a QBCC Trade Contractors licence. This includes newly graduated apprentices and experienced tradies looking to start their own business.
Successful completion will provide students with the technical qualification they require to make application for a trade contractor licence through the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
This course covers the managerial skills and knowledge required to set up and run a successful and compliant trade contractor business.

*CSQ provides funding to reduce the financial obstacle to training, making upskilling an affordable option for many more individuals in the construction industry. Eligibility
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills (LLND).
- Access to a reliable internet connection.
- Access to and ability to effectively communicate via email.
- A modern laptop (preferably Windows based) and access to a range of Microsoft programs and Adobe Reader that will be utilised throughout the course duration to complete course work and assessments.
- If completing this course via interactive livestream, it is recommended students use multiple screens to enable them to watch the course delivery on one screen (laptop or phone) and complete the assessment on another screen (laptop or computer).
