Course outline
The BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice qualification comprises nine units that teach learners how to apply Project Management Practice principles in a wide variety of contexts and across multiple projects at one time.
The course content is based on the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and explores the key aspects that make the successful delivery of a project possible such as project scope, time and cost.

Duration | Four months |
Delivery | A blended learning model of a mix of face-to-face delivery and the application of the project management principles to a workplace project. Face to face delivery: six days face-to-face (two day blocks over eight weeks) Workplace project - up to eight weeks after the face to face delivery to submit additional evidence based on one workplace project. This is applying the project management principles to a workplace project. This course requires students to demonstrate the application of project management principles to their workplace. Students are required to have access to a project team and a live project. A third-party report is required by a suitably qualified person who has witnessed the student's contribution to projects. |
