The CPC60220 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) comprises 10 units that teach learners how to learners how to apply knowledge of structural principles, codes, standards and legal requirements and operate at the managerial level of developing, planning and implementation of processes and systems for large, high rise and complex buildings projects.

  • CPCCB6003 Establish, maintain and review contract administration procedures and frameworks
  • CPCCBC6018 Manage processes for complying with legal obligations of a building or construction contractor
  • BSBWHS516 contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining an organisations WH&S management system

  • To successfully complete this qualification, it is desirable for students to have a minimum of 3 years building and construction industry specific experience in commercial construction work, or completion of a Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) qualification, or hold a current Medium Rise licence
  • Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills (LLND)
  • Access to a reliable internet connection
  • Access to and ability to effectively communicate via email.
  • A modern laptop (preferably Windows based) and access to a range of Microsoft programs and Adobe Reader that will be utilised throughout the course duration to complete course work and assessments.
  • A reliable recording device that time and date stamps content.

RPL course details

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). An RPL Assessment pathway requires students to participate in a skills check and consultation, detailed evidence gathering, submission of a portfolio of evidence and an assessment by a qualified assessor that also includes a detailed interview.

For RPL, prior to enrolment, candidates must be:

  • It is recommended that students are able to demonstrate and provide relevant evidence inclusive of at five years’ experience on-site supervising all trades with a licensed builder in open building projects
  • Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills (LLND).
  • Access to a reliable internet connection.
  • Access to and ability to effectively communicate via email.
  • A modern laptop (preferably Windows based) and access to a range of Microsoft programs and Adobe Reader that will be utilised throughout the course duration to complete course work and assessments.
