You’ll learn how to navigate around the program, create a new project file, enter work tasks and resources, and assign resources to tasks using a variety of methods so you can determine and monitor project costs and progress through its lifecycle.

Specifically tailored to Windows PC users, our instructor will guide you through simple projects to help you gain a more complete grasp of Microsoft Project Professional 2016 capabilities. With individual access to a computer, you will be able to follow the instructor step-by-step as you work through in-class activities.

This beginner’s course is suitable for those who have little or no experience in using Microsoft Project Professional 2016 however, it is an advantage if you are familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

CSQ provides funding to reduce the financial obstacle to training, making upskilling an affordable option for many more individuals in the construction industry. Eligibility criteria applies – enrolling student must be a small/medium business owner or employee of a building and construction business (directly involved in the administrative day-to-day running of the business). Classroom setup Students will be provided with individual access to a computer.
Prerequisite Students must be competent in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to undertake this course.
