Why enrol?
This course provides the skills and training required to legally remove more than 10m2 of non-friable asbestos as set out by the Work Health & Safety Regulation 2011 and the How to safely remove asbestos Code of Practice 2021.
Course outline
- How to prepare for asbestos removal
- Preparing and isolating a work area/site
- The asbestos removal process
- The decontamination process
- Cleaning up work sites
- Using documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Course inclusions
In addition to the practical training, participants will receive a comprehensive starter pack. This pack includes a half-face respirator, coveralls, booties, gloves, safety glasses, contaminated waste bags, spray adhesive, wipes, barrier tape, and a hand tool – all neatly packaged in a personal kit bag that can be easily decontaminated.
It's important to note that our program adheres to the highest safety standards, and Master Builders will not be using asbestos-containing material in this training program.
