Why enrol?

This course provides the skills and training required to legally remove more than 10m² of non-friable asbestos as set out by the Work Health & Safety Regulation 2011 and the How to safely remove asbestos Code of Practice 2021.

Course inclusions

In addition to the practical training, participants will receive a comprehensive starter pack. This pack includes a half-face respirator, coveralls, booties, gloves, safety glasses, contaminated waste bags, spray adhesive, wipes, barrier tape, and a hand tool – all neatly packaged in a personal kit bag that can be easily decontaminated.

It's important to note that our program adheres to the highest safety standards, and Master Builders will not be using asbestos-containing material in this training program.

Course codes	CPCCDE3014 - Remove non-friable asbestos CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry* *This is a prerequisite unit that you will complete as part of the two days training if you do not already hold this or the equivalent unit.
Eligibility	Candidates must be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills, be over 18 years of age, be physically able to undertake physical/practical components of the course, and provide photographic identification.
