Materials, design & installation deep-dive
Our livestream workshop will deep-dive into the detail of the NCC waterproofing changes being implemented on 1 October 2023. It will give you the skills and knowledge to install waterproofing systems to comply with the new building code requirements.
Even if you've attended one of our info sessions recently on the changes, this workshop will delve even deeper into the ins and outs of the code in an interactive workshop style, to ensure you're fully equipped.
Whether you are a builder or trade contractor, it's designed to give you the practical knowledge and skills to navigate the complex code requirements and install a compliant waterproofing system.

Why enrol?
The National Construction Code 2022 and the new AS 3740:2021 Waterproofing of domestic wet areas introduces significant changes for installing waterproofing systems in wet areas for all building classifications.
Through this training you will be guided by Andrew Golle, an industry waterproofing expert through the new technical aspects that you need to adopt for materials and design when installing a waterproofing system.

- NCC Deemed to Satisfy Pathways for Vol 1 and Vol 2
- NCC and AS 3740 – omissions and differences
- Membrane application above or below screed and compliance with DTS
- Shower screens and how they affect wet area design
- Housing Provisions general wet area requirements
- Falls: where, how and how much
- Membrane Curing Stages and AS 3740 – 2021 4.5.3 Overlay Stage Inspections
- Basis of Certification and the Form 43.
